The weekend of June 11th and 12th, we are organising a mass skydive from Swansea International Airport. You will Tandem Skydive from 12,000ft with a fully qualified instructor. Freefall at 120mph for 45 seconds, then float down when the parachute opens at 5,000 ft, spiralling through the sky with dual controls. Full training is given on the day and all equipment provided.
Registration is only £40 (register below). You’ll receive your Skydive Pack with sponsor forms and helpful hints and tips on how to raise the minimum £320 sponsorship by June 2016.
Restrictions
You do not need to be an Olympic athlete to become a skydiver but there are limitations as regards to your weight and mobility. The weight limits are 15 stone for men and 13 stone for ladies (both fully clothed). If you are over the age of 60, or rely upon walking aids for your mobility then we will require you to attend the centre for a pre-assessment before accepting a booking.
EVERYONE has to fill out a “Student Tandem Declaration of Fitness” form (also known as the medical form).
Some people will require a doctor to sign and stamp this form.
Anyone aged 16 or 17 will require the signature of a parent or legal guardian on the BPA Membership Agreement (also known as the under 18 parental consent form).
