A couple of years ago, we were lucky enough to have Huw Williams helping us out at FYI. He's now commercial manager at Coastal Housing, and leading an amazing regeneration of Swansea High Street.
Over a decade ago, Huw wrote a paper on how the creative sector might improve the area and Coastal has financed the initiative, investing £25 million on buying up empty buildings, building flats and renovating shops and offices.
Swansea High Street is now home to some exciting enterprises, like Galerie Simpson, showing the kind of work you'd expect to see in London, curated by former Young British Artist, Jane Simpson:
